Hey, thanks. A REAL review. Hehe! I'll certainly take all those things under advisement. The original Photoshop version of the site has a few things that clarify most of those issues. I didn't implement them just because I liked how it felt with out adding those bits.

lol, Do you really want me to tell you? I review sites at www.yoursite.nu sometimes; it's not a bad place to get some feedback.

I certainly like the textures you've used, 'specially the one on the banner image. I'm a huge fan of the "grunge" look but I can't ever pull it off myself. And as you may or may not know, I'm a huge Type O Negative fan and their colors are black and green, so I'm cool with the color scheme too.

I have to say that I didn't immediately understand that the large green-on-light-green links on the home page were for previous entries. I guess the show/hide links should have tipped me off, but they didn't. They're a bit... conspicuous. Conspicuous without being obvious as to what they are. Maybe it's because they're so close to the "no comments »" link? It makes it look as though they're a part of the current entry. Pushing them down a bit or adding a "Previous entries" header might help. Just try to separate them a bit. You've got a title/header for "Categories" and "Poll," why not "Previous entries?"

That said, I like how those links look. Font choice, color, etc all looks nice to me. They're a bit large, but really, I like it. It's a nice design element.

I find it a little odd that your categories, poll etc. is below all your entries rather than beside them, but it does break the conventional "my site is powered by WP" mold... Actually, yeah, I'm glad it's underneath rather than beside - it seems to fit the personality of your site better.

Overall, I think you've got a pretty nice site. I like that it's low on imagery but still has a nice feel. The colors work and it's easy to read. I don't see any glaring flaws; the only thing I'd change is adding that "Previous entries" header.
